Policies

We do encourage the use of our online system due to it's 24/7 availability and the accuracy and security it provides but please don't hesitate to contact us directly using more old-fashioned methods like telephone - visit our Contact Page.

Before using our online reservations system , please note the following "limitations" of the technology:

1. The system cannot really deal with any "Specials" or "Weekly" rates that may be offered on our site or elsewhere. Don't worry though, we will always manually override the system and your confirmation letter will always contain the correct and appropriate rates. Alternatively, you can always reserve by telephone.

2. If the system tells you there is no availability for the dates you enter, be aware that if it shows "no availability", that only means there is not "one room" that is continuously available for your dates. We may still be able to accommodate you by moving you from one room to another. Please telephone to verify  "no availability".

Alternatively, you can email or fax us with details of your accommodation inquiry. Either way, we will reply as soon as possible (usually within 24 hours).

Or (oh - so many choices), just telephone us (kind of old-fashioned but nice) anytime between 7 A.M. and 10 P.M. (Pacific Time), 7 days/week.  Your telephone call is very important to us so if by chance you are directed to our voice-mail system, please leave a detailed message and we will return your call as soon as possible. The telephone numbers are listed on our contact page.

Deposit Policy

All lodge room reservations require a deposit equal to the nightly room rate for each room booked,  plus taxes for the first night of your stay.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel a reservation made via our online reservation system, you may only do so via telephone or email. The online system has no capability to handle cancellation requests.

• we have a 14 day cancellation policy for the B&B
• if you cancel your reservation at any time after making the booking there will be a $50 service charge
• if you cancel your reservation with less than 14 days notice you will be charged in full for all nights reserved unless we are able to re-book the room in which case you will be refunded for each day that can be re-booked (less the $50 service charge)
• no refunds for arrivals later than original check in date, for early departures or for no-shows

Other Policies

• check in time is anytime between 4 and 9pm.
  • please respect our check in time as to allow us the time required to properly prepare the rooms for your arrival.
  • for arrivals later than 9pm, you must notify us in advance so as to arrange for the late check in
• check out time is anytime before 11am
• no smoking, burning candles or incense inside the lodge
• guests are asked to remove their outdoor footwear in the entrance area (this is customary for the vast majority of Canadian homes due to inclement weather & keeping the home clean and quiet)
  • we provide "lodge slippers" however please feel free to bring your own or you are also welcome to use socks or bare feet
• no pets allowed on the property
• adults must sign a waiver for themselves and children using canoes before kayaks and pedal boat
