Imagine paddling a canoe along the shores of a serene  mountain lake in the Canadian Rockies. The towering mountain peaks are reflected in the calm water, Rainbow Trout glide effortlessly through the sparkling waters beneath you and the Bald Eagles soar overhead. This is the scene of a typical day of canoeing on Griffin Lake, just 27 kilometers west of Revelstoke - gateway to the Canadian Rocky Mountains. If you've arranged for accommodation at our lodge the canoe use is complimentary. If you're just passing through, canoe rentals are available.

All guests of Griffin Lake Mountain Lodge enjoy the complimentary use of canoes during the entire stay at the lodge. Whether you want to venture out in the canoe before breakfast for a little fishing or paddle across the lake during the heat of the afternoon, the canoes are always available for both guests of our B&B or of the cabins.

Canoe Rentals

For non-guests of the lodge, we also offer canoe rentals. The rate is $15 per hour. You can just drop by the lodge anytime between 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. during our summer operating season (June 1st through October 1st).
