What can we say? The memory of this beautiful place and our hosts will be with us always. The mountains, the lake, the food, the hot tub and all this between the railway and the highway! We don't have places like this between our railways and highways in Yorkshire. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

As we turned in off the highway we thought "wow" - and things just got better. The lovely feel of our bed and breakfast; a beautiful room with nothing forgotten; a range of amusing little "extras" all around; the sight of the moon rising over the mountain and glistening on the lake (which we have never witnessed before and was so special); the friendly rumble of the CPR (which has been an interesting presence for much of our holiday); the warmth and coziness of the sitting room; your pictorial record of creating this place (we empathized with you on your comments about storage, the dust and covering up the wires); waiting for the sun to brighten the slopes and fall on the lake: observing 5 bald eagles, one flying very close: taking a pre-breakfast stroll to the sound of other birds (dippers); and returning to our chosen breakfast with home-made bread. Now perhaps a little canoe before we tear ourselves away...? Thank you so much!
