Terrain: Vast, rugged, tons of snow, groomed access, bowls, chutes, ....sledding heaven. Well groomed access. No cabin chalet at this point though one is in the works for future seasons.
From Griffin Lake Lodge and Cabins: Drive west on #1 (Trans-Canada Highway) about 15 kilometers. Turn right (north) just before the Perry River and the Esso Skyline Truck stop where you can fuel up (cheapest fuel in the area as well). You'll find a small white sign indicating the snowmobiling area at the turn off. Drive about 1/2 kilometer north through the gravel pit to the staging area.
From Revelstoke: Travel west on #1 (Trans-Canada Highway) about 42 kilometers. Turn right (north) just before the Perry River and the Esso Skyline Truck stop where you can fuel up (cheapest fuel in the area as well). You'll find a small white sign indicating the "Snowmobile Area" at the turn off. Drive about 1/2 kilometer north through the gravel pit to the staging area.
From Sicamous: Travel east on #1 (Trans-Canada Highway) about 30 kilometers. Turn left (north) just after the Perry River and the Esso Skyline Truck stop where you can fuel up (cheapest fuel in the area as well). You'll find a s mall white sign indicating the "Snowmobile Area" at the turn off. Drive about 1/2 kilometer north through the gravel pit to the staging area.
