Many riders find Blue Lake to be the ultimate riding area. There are gentle slopes, steep chutes, bowls and a varied terrain to suit all members of any group. The new alpine chalet/cabin in the center of it all provides a great lunch spot as well as refuge from inclement weather.
From Griffin Lake Lodge and Cabins: Drive west on #1 (Trans-Canada Highway) about 30 kilometers. Turn left (south) on the road opposite the Malakwa Race-Track fuel and convenience store. Make an immediate right, then a quick left at the "Y" following the "Blue Lake Snowmobiling" signage. Drive about 2 kilometers to the end of the road where you'll find the staging area.
From Revelstoke: Drive west on #1 (Trans-Canada Highway) about 57 kilometers. Turn left (south) on the road opposite the Malakwa Race-Track fuel and convenience store. Make an immediate right, then a quick left at the "Y" following the "Blue Lake Snowmobiling" signage. Drive about 2 kilometers to the end of the road where you'll find the staging area.
From Sicamous: Drive east on #1 (Trans-Canada Highway) about 15 kilometers. Turn right (south) on the road opposite the Malakwa Race-Track fuel and convenience store. Make an immediate right, then a quick left at the "Y" following the "Blue Lake Snowmobiling" signage. Drive about 2 kilometers to the end of the road where you'll find the staging area.
